What does LIFE INDUSTRIES LIMITED Own?
Life Industries Limited is a brewery that has produced South Beer in Juba, South Sudan beginning in 2022. Little is known about the company due to the turbulent economy of South Sudan, but it appears to be the only brewery in the country. Previously South Sudan Beverages Limited produced beer from 2009 to 2016, but was forced to shut down due to the lack of available foreign cash to facilitate raw good purchases. They were founded by SABMiller, which was purchased by Anheuser-Busch InBev in 2016 shortly before the company’s closure.
Life Industries has a limited social presence, and its not clear how prominent their beer is throughout the country. The UK ambassador has posted about assisting the company in establishing its operations, but its not clear how tangible that assistance is.
