What does NOVO BRAZIL BREWING CO Own?
Novo Brazil Brewing Company was founded in 2015 in Chula Vista, California by brothers Tiago and Jose Felipe Carneiro. The pair had previously started Wäls Brewery with their father in Belô Horizonte, Brazil before selling it to AmBev, a subsidiary of Anheuser-Busch InBev. The Carneiros then became founding partners of ZX Ventures, Anheuser-Busch’s investment wing, while simultaneously starting Novo Brazil. The two businesses are otherwise unrelated, however. In 2018, the company began creating kombucha, and the beverage was soon spun off as the brand Nova Easy Kombucha.
