What does PHOENIXBEV Own?
PhoenixBev was founded in 1931 as Phoenix Camp Minerals, originally producing mineral water in Mauritius. In 1953 they began bottling Coca-Cola, and in 1963 Phoenix Beer was first brewed. In 1993 the company went public, and ten years later it renamed itself Phoenix Beverages Ltd (stylized as “PhoenixBev”) after its flagship beverage. Today it is the island nation’s most popular beer, and is distributed internationally.
