What does BEVANA Own?
Bevana was founded in Cornelius, North Carolina in 2020 by Andrew Durstewitz. Durstewitz had originally founded D9 Brewing, which was organized under the company, then known as Community Brewing Ventures. CBV rebranded to Bevana in 2022, but soon began to face legal issues stemming from its unusual relationship with its partners. Those partners had sales and distribution relationships with Bevana, but some alleged that the company failed to live up to its promises, and in 2023, Pontoon Brewing shut down as it alleged that it had failed to be paid by Bevana.
