Israel Beer Breweries, Ltd was founded in 1992 in Ashkelon, Israel to produce Carlsberg for the Israeli market. It was founded as a partnership between Carlsberg and Central Bottling Company, which owns the franchise for Coca-Cola in Israel. In 2008, Carlsberg sold their stake in the enterprise to CBC.
