Swamp Head Brewery was founded in 2008 in Gainesville, Florida by Luke Kemper and Craig Birkmaier. In 2012, Swamp Head opened up a taproom, known as The Wetlands, which was closed during the COVID-19 pandemic. The production brewery also moved to a larger facility in 2015.
