Brew Bus Brewing was first brewed in Tampa, Florida 2012 by Anthony Derby, who had previously started the company as a bus service for beer tours. The beer was originally contract brewed at Cigar City Brewing, before moving to Brew Hub in Lakeland, Florida. In 2016, Brew Bus purchased Florida Avenue Brewing, and now brews both brands at their locations.
