Hunter is a brand of beer created by the Jamuna Group in 2004 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. As a highly Muslim country, Bangladesh outlaws beer, which it defines as being above 5% in alcohol. Hunter, therefore, is just below 5%, and is the most popular beer in the country. It has been criticized as copying the branding of Fosters“>Fosters beer, which it resembles closely.
