CHEHALIS TRIBAL ENTERPRISES

What does CHEHALIS TRIBAL ENTERPRISES Own?

Chehalis Tribal Enterprises is the business wing of the Confederated Tribes of the Chehalis Reservation, a tribal government representing the Upper and Lower Chehalis, Klallam, Muckleshoot, Nisqually, and Quinault peoples of western Washington. The tribes have operated the Lucky Eagle Casino since 1995, and also owns several hotels and restaurants in the area. In 2018, they proposed building a brewery and distillery, but soon discovered an 1834 law that prevented the creation of distilleries on tribal law. They worked with federal legislators to change the law, which passed later that year. The team partnered with Heritage Distilling on the project, as well as with Stillwater Artisanal Ales on the beer side of things. All profits go back to the tribe.
